Vegan health/fitness sites

Here are just a few of my favorite vegan health & fitness sites:

Karina Inkster: This site is run by Karina Inkster, a vegan weight-lifter, personal trainer, musician, author and pod-caster who uses an evidence-based approach to help you kick butt on a vegan diet.

The Vegan RD: My go-to source for optimal vegan nutrition information. Ginny Messina— aka the Vegan RD is science-based and demolishes falsehoods and fads; if you have a question about vegan nutrition, her site or her books almost certainly has the answer.

Vegan Health: Everything you need to know to live a healthy vegan lifestyle. Very thorough and the recommendations are based on the latest science.

Vegan Family Kitchen: Vegan living made easy  all about vegan meal planning and food prep, as well as how to raise a vegan family. Also a great place for tips on how to live an environmentally-friendly lifestyle.

Fun Food and Fitness: Run by Emma Green, she favors an evidence-based approach to fitness and vegan-living. A researcher, writer and coach who specializes in sports psychology, she offers an abundance of helpful advice.

The Animalist: Not strictly vegan(but close enough), this site takes a very thoughtful, practical, non-dogmatic approach to animal advocacy and vegan or near vegan-living. Not for those obsessed with purity or into pseudoscience.

Little Miss Meat Free: This fantastic recipe site is run by Katy Beskow, a cook, food writer and cookery tutor from the U.K. Her recipes are not only tasty and nutritious but almost always simple and easy to prepare.
